The splendid panorama dominates the famous hills of Chianti and house itself is sorrounded by olivetrees and is adjacent to an extensive vineyard.

In fact, during the remodelling period, the brick arches, the exposed stone walls, the terracotta tile floor and the exposed wooden beam ceiling have all been left intact in the attempt not only to maintain but also to enhance the characteristic elements of the old farmhouses of Chianti.

Inside the country house complex typical gastronomical products can be tasted and purchased such as extra virgin olive oil and wine produced by the owners themselves.

The location is well adapted for every kind of need: the calm and relaxing atmosphere is ideal for long walks and for those who love to move about the area, one can visit the histories centres of Florence (18 Km), Pisa (70 Km), Siena (60 Km) and the characteristic citadels of San Gimignano (45 Km), Greve in Chianti (7 Km) and Radda in Chianti (40 km).
It is also possible to visit, by request, the famous winery of Castelli del Grevepesa located just a few minutes away where the prestigious Chianti Classico wine is produced and sold.

公寓 － 双人间 The country house is subdivided into 4 apartments one of which is inhabited by the owner. The other 3: Luccellare, La Cipressa and I Ceppi have all been recently restored and furnished in the simple Tuscan style.

L'Uccellare:Large living room with double sofa bed, furnished kitchen with full size oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. Large Master bedroom with double bed, 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with bathtub and shower,toilet. Access to garden equipped with patio table, chairs and umbrella.
La Cipressa:Large living room with double sofa bed, kitchen furnished with full size oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. Master bedroom with double bed, 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower. Access to garden equipped with patio table, chairs and umbrella.

All of the apartments include TV, safe for valuables, barbeque grill and parking. Also available for our guests are the use of a washing machine and iron.

如何前往酒店

By air: Florences International Airport Amerigo Vespucci, 4 km from the city center, has daily flights coming from most Italian and European cities. From the Airport the city center or the railway station can be reached by a convenient shuttle bus service (travelling time 20 minutes). At the railway station, Santa Maria Novella, you can take a coach bus SITA direct for Greve/Panzano and get off at the village of Ponte di Gabbiano (about 45 min.). We will be happy to come and greet you at the bus stop. Alternatively, at the airport there is the option of a car rental located in the ARRIVALS terminal. Another possibility are the airports of Pisa or Bologna which are about 80-90 km from Florence. In fact, the Pisa Airport Galileo Galilei is conveniently connected with direct trains to Florence railway station S.M. Novella.

By train: Arriving from any direction, the closest railway station is that of Florence S.M. Novella. Once arrived at the station you can take the coach bus SITA for Greve/Panzano and get off in the village of Ponte di Gabbiano (about 45 minutes). We will be happy to greet you up at the bus stop.

By car: Arriving from the north, exit Firenze Certosa and follow the directions for San Casciano (SS No. 2). After about 8 km in the village Falciani, turn left towards Greve. Go past the village of Ferrone, turn right towards Mercatale and immediately turn left. Go straight on the gravel road and follow the directions for our Holiday House.

Arriving from the south, exit Firenze Sud and follow the directions for Grassina/Greve (SS no. 222). After about 12 km, you will arrive in the little town of Strada in Chianti, turn right towards the village of Ferrone. Go straight on until you reach Ferrone, turn left for Greve and then after about 3 km, turn right for the village of Mercatale then immediately after the Cantina Castelli del Grevepesa turn left. Go straight on the gravel road and follow the directions for our Holiday House.
