From the North/South/Garden State Parkway: Take exit 153A to Route 3 East. Take the Passaic Avenue exit. Bear right off the exit. Take a right at the stop sign and look for the U-turn. Follow the U-turn signs to Route 3 West. Take the New Jersey Turnpike Exit 16W onto Route 3 and continue West for 5 Miles. Go past the Passaic Avenue exit and the The Howard Johnson Inn Clifton Hotel is on the right hand side at the top of the hill next to IHOP restaurant.
From the East/Route 46/Interstate 80: Continue on Route 46 to Route 3 East. Take the Passaic Avenue exit and follow the above instructions.
From the North/South/New Jersey Turnpike: Take exit 16W to Route 3 West and continue for 5 miles. Drive past the Passaic Avenue exit. The Howard Johnson Inn Clifton Hotel is on right hand side at top of hill next to the IHOP Restaurant.
From the Lincoln Tunnel: Take Route 3 West. Continue for 9 miles. You will see the The Howard Johnson Inn Clifton Hotel on the right.
From Long Island: Take the George Washington Bridge to Route 95. Follow the signs for the New Jersey Turnpike South. Continue onto the New Jersey Turnpike South and then take exit 16W. After the toll booth, bear left onto Route 3 West. Continue for about 5 miles and you will see the Howard Johnson Inn Clifton Hotel immediately after the Passaic Avenue exit on your right hand side.
From South Jersey: Take the Garden State Parkway North and continue to Exit 153A. Take the exit and continue on Route 3 East. Take the Passaic Avenue exit and come down the ramp bearing right.
