Ericeira is a charming seaside village located on the western coast of Portugal, in the municipality of Mafra, about 35 km (21.7 miles) from the centre of Lisbon. Its name originates from Ouriceira, which derives from Ouriço, the Portuguese name for a sea urchin.

From Lisbon (A8 motorway): follow signs to Malveira, Mafra, Ericeira. Take the Ericeira/Praias exit and continue until you reach Ericeira, where the hotel is located.
From the A1 motorway (Oporto-Lisbon): exit at Crel in the direction of Cascais. Follow signs to Sintra IC19. Take the Ericeira/Praias exit and continue until you reach Ericeira, where the hotel is located.
From the A2 motorway (Algarve-Lisbon): cross the 25 de Abril bridge over the Tagus river and proceed along the A5 motorway in the direction of Cascais. Go past Monsanto and take the Amadora/Sintra IC19 exit. Drive in the direction of Sintra and take the Ericeira/Praias exit. Follow along until you reach Ericeira, where the hotel is located.
