Location
Situated right on the beach in Southern Mexico, in the bay of Huatulco, the resort is 10 minutes from the cities of La Crucecita and Santa Cruz, 32 kilometers from Huatulco International Airport, and 428 km from Acapulco.
Climate
The climate in Huatulco is warm and slightly humid with an average annual temperature of around 28ºC (82ºF).
In winter, temperatures do not generally fall below 18ºC (64ºF) while in summer they do not exceed 38ºC (100ºF).
Visitors to Mexico can explore its diverse natural landscapes of rivers, lakes and freshwater lagoons, Mayan archaeological ruins and pyramids. The Bays of Huatulco can be found on the coast of Oaxaca, which runs for 35 kilometers along the Mexican Pacific coastline between the Coyula and Copalita river estuaries.
Within this stunning enclave of nine bays, visitors can explore the region's mountains, hillsides and valleys, lushly vegetated with a variety of indigenous arboreal species including tepguanje, cazarate, poppy, ficus, mecianos and colorin. The waters off the coast of Oaxaca are populated by a number of marine species, such as lobster, king prawns, dolphins, turtles, red snappers, clams and snails.
