Hotel Opal is located in the leisure port of Cap d'Agde, a lively seaside resort in the Mediterranean Sea, in Hérault, within the region of Languedoc-Roussillon. The famous towns of Montpellier (buzzing university town with a charming Medieval centre) and Nimes (famous for its beautiful Roman theatre) are both easily reachable by car or train.
This Southern France hotel has 30 rooms and is ideally situated right across from the port, with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to walk to. Numerous activities in the vicinity will keep you busy day and night: water sports, a golf course, a casino, two theme parks, discos, as well as bicycle and pedestrian trails. Scooters and bicycles can be rented in the area.
Last but not least, you might be interested to know that Cap d'Agde boasts the world's largest naturist village, also known as the Naked City: a self-contained town where nudity is legal and common.

From the A9 motorway, take the Agde exit and then follow along for 15 km/9 miles on the RN 312 state road until you reach Cap d'Agde.
By train
From Agde train station you can take the shuttle bus leading to Cap d'Agde and get off near the Opal hotel.
By airplane
From Beziers-Cap d'Agde airport you can reach the hotel using the shuttle bus, which will take you to Cap d'Agde in about 40 minutes. As an alternative, Montpellier-Méditerranée airport is located 36 miles/60 km away from Cap d'Agde.
