| The Relais de Margaux is located on the Médoc peninsula. This region has enjoys a mild temperate all year round thanks to the Atlantic Ocean and to the refreshing flows of the Gironde which runs next to the Golf course. The Gironde, covering a total area of 10,000 km², is the biggest region in France and the river estuary, formed by the convergence of the Garonne and the Dordogne, is so large that is considered as the European Mississipi. It has the highest dune in Europe, at Le Pyla (112 m), a string of lakes, the forest of Les Landes and Gascony (the biggest forest in Europe) and 1,000,000 hectares of vineyards with legendary labels and exquisite vintages. |

Some rooms feature a garden and some a private terrace.

The charm of the restaurant-bar, open from Wednesday to Sunday, lies in its unique surroundings. Like the restaurant, it is located in one of the former wine stores of Château Margaux.
