The property is situated at 1.400 metres above sea level, directly beside a little mountain stream, amidst the beautiful Latemarwald forest and only a few minutes walk from the idyllic lake Carezza (o Karersee).

During the winter season you will be enchanted by the snowcovered landscape, while skiers will appreciate the marvellous slopes. It is a matter of fact that South Tyrol is one of the most beautiful and famous skiing resorts. Ski buses are stopping and taking you up to the ski area Carezza and to the ski center Latemar. In less than half an hour you will also reach the Sella Ronda in Val di Fassa and the ski resorts Marmolada, Passo Lusia, Passo Rolle, and several others.

Also during the summer months the Dolomites with the nearby mountains Rosengarten and Latemar at the lake Carezza are really fascinating. You will find a lot of walking paths, the more experienced will dare an excursion up in the mountains or even a climbing tour. The hotel staff will assist in planning your trip but you can also join the organized tours of the hotel.

The cosy and characteristic Tyrolean styled hotel, disposes of a sunny terrace, a TV room, a pleasant lounge bar and an excellent restaurant.

By car
Take the highway Brennerautobahn (A22) until the exit Bozen Nord, follow the direction to Karerpaß and proceed on the SS241, following the indications to Eggental, Welschnofen, Karersee, Karerpaß and Val di Fassa. The hotel is located about 20 km from the highway exit, between the centre of Welschnofen and the lake Carezza.

By train
The nearest railway station is in Bozen. Every day there are several public buses connecting Bozen with the hotel. Someone of the staff will pick you up, on request and for an extra charge.
