The well-known Hotel-Gasthof "Schranne" in Rothenburg ob der Tauber is situated in the middle of the medieval town, next to the old fortification-wall of 1380.
Built in about 17th century as a residence of a Noble-Family, the house was changed into a Hotel a long time ago and is still operated by the same proprietor.
