The San Michele hotel, framed from the marvellous landscape of the Tuscany hills, about 1.5 km from the historical town of San Gimignano, offers a warm hospitality in an informal ambience with all comforts to spend an unforgettable holiday rich in historical and culinary traditions.

In the morning of hot summer months guests will have breakfast on the terrace, while in the evening they will relax after excursions and tours, conversing with friends, accompanied with a glass of Vernaccia di San Gimignano or a good Chianti wine. In May until late Autumn, the swimming pool, surrounded by the garden, is open and offers guests an enchanting view over the green cultivated fields, the hills and the towers of San Gimignano.

Other hotel amenities include bar, courtyard and breakfast room with TV.

San Gimignano is situated among the hills of Alta Val d’Elsa in the heart of Tuscany. Its beautiful 14 towers, still preserved thanks to an intelligent work of maintenance, give to the ancient village the striking features of the Middle Ages time. San Gimignano is well-known also for its countryside, cultivated with olive groves and vineyards. The dirt roads are ideal for trekking or to make excursions on mountain bike, so guests of San Michele hotel can admire wonderful views of the town and the surrounding nature.

The San Michele hotel offers 14 double and double with panoramic view bedrooms, each furnished in Tuscan style and disposed on two levels. Many of them overlook the wonderful Tuscan vineyards and olive groves and the view runs free over the Chianti hills and the Appennino mountains. Other rooms are situated in the hotel courtyard and all are peaceful and feature every comforts.

Accommodation amenities include private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, direct dial telephone, heating, satellite TV, electronic safe and desk. The guest room with panoramic view also have air conditioning (available from June to August).

The San Michele hotel also has rooms with panoramic view specially equipped for disabled guests.

Baby cots and extra beds are available on request.

Follow the indications to San Gimignano. Arrived in San Gimignano, follow the signs to Certaldo. The hotel is on the right side of this road.

From the South on A1 Roma-Milano highway, take the exit Valdichiana and follow the indications to Siena. Take the dual carriageway Siena-Firenze in direction of Firenze. Exit at Poggibonsi and follow the signs to San Gimignano. Arrived in San Gimignano follow the signs to Certaldo. The hotel is on the right side of this road.
