Located in a Victorian palace, headquarters of a mining company in the 19th century, Estalagem São Domingos is a country hotel in Mértola, a wonderful city in Portugal that has become an important cultural and touristy site.
Other than the peaceful and calm location right by the Vale do Guadiana Natural Park, guests at this luxury accommodation can enjoy of the beach by the lake Tapade Grande, ideal to practice water sports.
Facilities at the Estalagem São Domingos Inn include a unique observatory, bars, restaurant, swimming pools and gym, games room, library, meeting rooms, terrace and patio. Furthermore, wireless Internet access is available throughout the entire property.

Other than discovering the Arab city of Mértola, with its magnificent castle, the Matriz Church that formerly was the Moorish Mosque, and the Islamic Museum, it is also worth visiting the nearby picturesque villages, such as Beja, Serpa, and Evora.
