By car
From Lisbon:
Take the A1 to the north and, once in Torres Novas, take the IP6 to Castelo Branco. Once there, take the A23 to Fundão. Take the EN18 to Covilhã and then drive to Guarda. After about 4.4 miles/7 km, you will see the Senhora Do Carmo chapel. Continue to Guarda and after 5 curves, you will see the Casa da Figueira Grande gate on your right.
